Snowforest campground in mount revelstoke national park is 70 km west of rogers pass. Interpretive trails connect loop brook campground to the adjacent rogers pass national historic site where you can walk the 1885 rail line past the ghostly remains of snowsheds and bridges. Several commercial campgrounds are found in the communities of revelstoke and golden. There is no hotel accommodation available in glacier national park. In addition two bc parks campgrounds martha creek and blanket creek are located within 20 minutes of revelstoke. Relax among the towering cedars and hemlocks at illecillewaet campground set along the glacier fed illecillewaet river.

Camping outside of glacier national park. Utility hook ups are not provided and connection to water sewer or electrical outlets is prohibited. Illecillewaet has level campsites flush toilet washroom buildings a log kitchen shelter and food lockers for cyclists. Nine hiking trails begin at the campground.
